Terms, in the fewest clauses that do the job honestly

Reading and reusing

1. 1. This site is published by Keystyle Travels LLC of Houston, Texas. Reading costs nothing, needs no account and creates no obligation either way.
2. 2. The writing, the photographs, the layout and the code belong to Keystyle Travels LLC.
3. 3. Take a paragraph, name the field book and link to the record, and there is nothing to ask. A full record or a photograph needs a note to [email protected] first; permission is normally granted and always in writing.
4. 4. Do not republish the field book wholesale and do not present its records as somebody else's fieldwork.

What a record claims

1. 5. A record describes one block on the day printed at the top of it, at the temperature and under the sky printed beside the date. That strip is the scope of the claim and nothing beyond it is asserted.
2. 6. Nothing here is a safety assessment or advice to walk anywhere. Walking is the reader's own decision, in the reader's own judgement of heat, traffic and light.

Nothing is sold here

1. 7. This site trades in nothing. Look for a shop, a booking, a ticket, a subscription, a membership or a price and none exists on any page. Since no money changes hands here, five subjects that a trading site would need pages of their own for have nothing whatever to attach to, and this clause is where each of them is answered: payment, none is taken; refund, there is nothing to give one on; cancellation, there is nothing to cancel; delivery and shipping, nothing physical ever moves; warranty, no goods exist to warrant. The absence of those pages is deliberate rather than an oversight.
2. 8. The one commercial arrangement is the look up on the front page, which hands a trip to a separate booking host. Any contract that follows is between the reader and whoever sells the trip. This field book is not a party to it, cannot alter it, cannot cancel it and cannot refund it.
3. 9. Where that arrangement pays a commission, it is disclosed under the form itself and again on the independence page.

Independence

1. 10. No affiliation is held with any public body, property owner, developer, transport operator, airline or tourism office, and none should be inferred from any page.
2. 11. No company sharing part of this name has any connection to this publication.
3. 12. Sponsorship has never touched a record and no mention has ever been bought. Were that to change, the method page would carry the announcement in advance of the first affected record.

Limits

1. 13. The field book is provided as it stands. No promise is made that a block is unchanged, that a street is passable, or that a description holds after its printed date.
2. 14. Where fault lies with the publisher, liability is limited to the extent the law permits and no further. Nothing written here touches liability for death or personal injury arising from negligence, nor anything else the law refuses to let anybody exclude.
3. 15. If one clause turns out to be unenforceable, strike that clause alone; the remainder continues to apply exactly as printed.

Law and reaching us

1. 16. These terms are governed by the law of the State of Texas, and its courts have jurisdiction over any dispute arising from them.
